A few days before your first interview, your recruiter will contact you to check in on your preparations for the interview. If needed, he/she will provide you with the necessary information, so you are ready to make an unforgettable first impression.
During the first interview, a team manager will discover with you what your main drivers are in a professional context. What are your interests, how do you want to be coached, what kind of team player are you? That's what we are interested in. Do you have questions about our projects, our values or our vision on consultancy? Go ahead, ask away!
Did you feel a spark? Did we feel a spark? If so, then you’ll meet with one of our directors. First, he’ll assess your knowledge of TAG and the projects we do, your motivation and your overall competencies. Finally, he’ll ask you to prepare a case study on a certain topic to evaluate your analytical insight, presentation skills and your ability to cope with feedback. Your recruiter will inform you of the details so you’re properly prepared.
In a final interview, you'll meet founder Peter Verboven. He will check the cultural fit. Are you a match with our company culture? Are your career ambitions in line with those of TAG? It’s an open dialogue where you get to ask any remaining questions.
Congratulations, you’ve got the job! Your recruiter will contact you to discuss the offer. Once you’ve accepted it, we can start your onboarding. You’ll follow the Bootcamp to develop your basic consulting skills, be matched with a project that fits your talents, receive a coach to keep track of your ambitions and get to know your team manager who will monitor and guide you during your project. That way, you have everything you need to make an impact from day one.

No, we don’t expect that from you. In fact, we pride ourselves on not being tied down by a specific framework or platform. It allows us to critically assess what tool best fits a project. Only when a tool is crucial for your project’s success, will we ask you to familiarise yourself with it. During out Bootcamp, we will teach you a set of basic consulting skills. After this week of training, you will be able to kick-start your first project with the support of your team manager.
Your career at TAG won’t be defined by just one project. You’ll offer support on a variety of projects, especially early in your career. On average, you’ll be involved with a project for about 15 months, depending on the assignment, before starting on the next challenge to evolve your skills. Do you want to work longer on a project?
