Your daily routine will heavily depend on the project you’re working on. Every day, you’ll meet up with your project team to discuss the current challenges and priorities. From carrying out a business analysis to presenting results or/and having follow-up meetings with your team. Day in and day out, you’ll be immersed in different work cultures and get to know the many different facets of a company. It might not be a nine-to-five job, but it definitely offers plenty of variety and exciting challenges.
We kickstart your career at TAG with a Bootcamp, where we expand your technical background with interpersonal skills. After two weeks, you’ll be able to collaborate on business cases and present them to an auditorium of experts in the field. In short, you’ll learn all the best practices needed to manage your first project with success.
But the learning doesn’t stop there. Afterwards, we set you up with a team manager to monitor your projects and a coach to help you understand your management style.
Throughout the year, our experienced consultants organize trainings which you can attend to learn more about specific topics. Both hard and soft skill subjects will be addressed.
A year later, you’ll join the Reboot camp to hone your consultancy skills and receive a training budget to further your career ambitions.
Throughout the year, external trainers will provide training sessions on specific topics relevant to your project. This will enable you to acquire valuable certificates as well.
After that, it’s all up to you. Do you want to specialise in a certain expertise or expand your skillset with an executive MBA course? At TAG, you can shape your career to your ambitions.
We close our Bootcamp with an exciting Pitch Night. Get a look at the 2023 edition.
And perhaps you’ll spot yourself in the next aftermovie.
As a consultant, you’ll switch between working at your customer’s location and at our office in Leuven or Mechelen, building a close relationship with both your customers and your colleagues. It’s a flexible work rhythm that requires rigorous planning. When and how you tackle your tasks is up to you. Luckily, you don’t operate on your own, but can rely on a dynamic young team of like-minded consultants to exchange ideas with.
Your hardest challenge as a consultant? Being able to query your client’s desired outcome and assess if what they want matches what they need. You need to be brave enough to adjust the course of a project if necessary. Only then will you reach the outcome that best fits your client’s ambitions.
